Password vault
The editor allows you to create and store passwords for various systems and services in the form of a structured tree.
Each password tree is stored in a special entity - space.
Spaces can be of 3 types:
Public
Personal (not encrypted)
Personal (encrypted)
Important: when working in “local use” mode, types 1 and 2 are virtually identical.
Creating space
click the "Create new space" button on the toolbar
in the "Space name" field enter the name of the space (space names are globally unique)
from the "Space type" drop-down list, select the space type
for the "Personal (encrypted)" space, enter the additional data encryption password in the "Password" field
enter a comment in the "Comment" field
click the "Save" button to create the space
Important: if you lose the password for an encrypted space, it will not be possible to restore access to it.
Important: the first time you access an encrypted space (after launch), the program will ask you to enter a password for the space to access objects
Passwords in space are stored in an entity called a directory. The directory is the parent of the password entry. Any depth of directory nesting within each other is allowed.
Creating a directory
in the tree, select a space or directory in the space in which you plan to create a new directory
click the "Add new directory" button on the toolbar
in the "Directory name" field enter the name of the directory to be created
enter a comment in the "Comment" field
click the "Save" button to create the directory
Creating a Password Entry
in the tree select a directory in the desired space
click the "Create password" button on the toolbar
fill in the "Alias" field - displayed in the tree
fill in the "Login" field
fill in the "Password" field (if the record is created in an encrypted space, then when saving the data, the specified password will be additionally encrypted with the space password)
if necessary, in the URL's field, enter a list of web addresses where the login is used (the "Add URL" button)
click the "Save" button to create a record

Хранилище паролей
Редактор позволяет создавать и хранить в виде структурированного дерева пароли к различным системам и сервисам.
Каждое дерево паролей хранится в специальной сущности - пространстве.
Пространства могут быть 3 типов:
Публичное
Личное (не шифрованное)
Личное (шифрованное)
Важно: при работе в режиме "локального использования", 1 и 2 тип фактически тождественны.
Создание пространства
нажать кнопку "Create new space" на панели инструментов
в поле "Space name" ввести название пространства (имена пространств глобально уникальны)
из выпадающего списка "Space type" выбрать тип пространства
для пространства "Personal (encrypted)" в поле "Password" ввести пароль дополнительного шифрования данных
в поле "Comment" ввести комментарий
нажать кнопку "Save" для создания пространства
Важно: при утере пароля для шифрованного пространства восстановить доступ к нему будет не возможно.
Важно: при первом обращении к шифрованному пространству (после запуска), программа запросит ввести пароль к пространству для доступа к объектам
Пароли в пространстве хранятся в сущности под названием директория. Директория является родителем записи с паролем. Допускается любая глубина вложений директорий друг в друга.
Создание директории
в дереве выбрать пространство или директорию в пространстве в которой планируется создать новую директорию
нажать кнопку "Add new directory" на панели инструментов
в поле "Directory name" ввести имя создаваемой директории
в поле "Comment" ввести комментарий
нажать кнопку "Save" для создания директории
Создание записи о пароле
в дереве выбрать директорию в нужном пространстве
нажать кнопку "Create password" на панели инструментов
заполнить поле "Alias" - выводится в дереве
заполнить поле "Login"
заполнить поле "Password" (если запись создается в шифрованном пространстве, то при сохранении данных указанный пароль будет дополнительно зашифрован паролем пространства)
при необходимости в поле URL's ввести список web адресов где используется логин (кнопка "Add URL")
нажать кнопку "Save" для создания записи
