The database connection manager is a unified storage of parameters for connections to databases used by program modules

Control buttons

• Update connection tree

• Create a node

• Add a child object to the current node

• Create connection

Creating a node

Filling a tree of objects consists of several stages, the first is registering in the catalog the names of the nodes from which the tree is built

• Click the "Create parent" button

• In the "Value" field enter the node name

• Click the "Save" button

• Repeat steps 2-3 as many times as necessary to fill the directory with node names

• Click the "Close" button to close the window

The second is the formation of a tree structure from registered objects

• Select node

• Click the "Insert children" button From the "Parent name" drop-down list, select either the current node (default) or "Root line" (root node) In the "Parent list" field, select the name of the node to be added

• Click the "Insert children" button

Testing connections

Bulk connection testing implements 2 functions:

• Checking connections to databases

• Identifying inaccessible databases

Test order

• Click the "Check all saved connections" button

• Confirm the start of testing

• Wait for execution and study the report

Important: testing is performed by the main process, therefore, during testing, work in the program will not be possible.

Менеджер соединений с базами данных - это единое хранилище параметров соединений с базами используемых модулями программы

Кнопки управления

• Обновить дерево соединений

• Создать узел

• Добавить дочерний объект текущему узлу

• Создать соединение

• Удалить соединение/пустую директорию

• Проверка соединений

• Увеличить шрифт дерева объектов

• Уменьшить шрифт дерева объектов

• Закрыть менеджер соединений

Создание узла

Наполнение дерева объектов состоит из нескольких этапов, первый - это регистрация в каталоге имен узлов из которых строится дерево

1. Нажать кнопку "Create parent"

2. В поле "Value" ввести имя узла

3. Нажать кнопку "Save"

4. Повторить пункты 2-3 нужно количество раз для наполнения справочника именами узлов

5. Нажать кнопку "Close" для закрытия окна

Второй - это формирование структуры дерева из зарегистрированных объектов

1. Выделить узел

2. Нажать кнопку "Insert children"

3. Из выпадающего списка "Parent name" выбрать или текущий узел (по умолчанию) или "Root line" (корневой узел)

4. В поле "Parent list" выбрать имя добавляемого узла

5. Нажать кнопку "Insert children"

Тестирование соединений

Массовое тестирование соединений реализует 2 функции:

• Проверку подключения к базам данных

• Определение недоступных баз данных

Порядок тестирования

• Нажать кнопку "Check all saved connections"

• Подтвердить запуск тестирования

• Дождаться выполнения и изучить отчет

Важно: тестирование выполняется основным процессом, следовательно на время тестирования, работа в программе будет не возможна.
